Tax Manager – High-Performing, Global Business | Flexible Hybrid Role

This is a rare opportunity to join a global industry leader at the forefront of energy. Operating across over 100 countries they are experiencing srong performance and continued growth across the APAC region leading to a new opportunity for a Tax Manager to join the ANZ team. You’ll be part of a high performing team and report to a respected and supportive Head of Tax.

The role:
This is a diverse, hands-on tax position that spans both Australia and New Zealand. You’ll lead a range of tax compliance and reporting responsibilities across income tax, indirect tax (GST, FBT, payroll tax), transfer pricing, tax effect accounting and quarterly reporting to global headquarters. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning deliverables end-to-end and adding value through insight, accuracy and collaboration.

What you’ll bring:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Big 4 training and/or commercial experience in a large corporate (ideally Top 100 or multinational)
• Strong knowledge of corporate and international tax, including experience with tax consolidations
• Technical capability in tax effect accounting and transfer pricing
• A ‘doer’ mentality – someone hands-on and proactive, with a drive for excellence and delivery
• Proficiency with tools such as SAP, CCH Integrator and Excel is preferred
• Full working rights in Australia
