About the role

Bambach Wires and Cables is seeking a dedicated Factory Operator to join our manufacturing team in Rosedale, Victoria. This is a full-time opportunity to play a key role in the production and operations of our leading wire and cable company.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and maintain a range of manufacturing equipment and machinery to produce high-quality wire and cable products
• Assist in the coordination of production workflows to ensure efficient and timely output
• Conduct regular quality checks and identify any issues or defects in the production process
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and safety
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations and procedures
• Support the wider manufacturing team as needed

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or production role, ideally within the wire and cable industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate a range of industrial machinery and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production issues
• A reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented approach to work
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required
