Award-winning builder is looking to source an experienced Project Manager to work on high-end fitouts, refurbs and new build construction projects across Sydney. This builder works across NSW up to $20m for the last 25 years. They have recently been awarded a new project and are looking to review profiles for a Project Manager to join before the end of the quarter.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a commercial site with further projects to come located in Sydney.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Project Planning, scheduling, cost control and budgeting
• Writing of construction program and hands-on project management delivery of work
• Provide good technical knowledge and commercial awareness to the client
• High-level planning, teamwork, communication and negotiating skills
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
• Playing a lead role in an ambitious company that has sustained growth through their years in Commercial Construction

To be considered for the position of Project Manager you will require:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Management role on Commercial Construction projects
• New build commercial construction experience would be highly desirable
• Experience working for a head contractor is essential
• Tertiary qualification in Construction/Engineering
• Client facing with a proven track record in working well under pressure
• Sound knowledge of the NSW construction market including sub-contractors etc.
• Ability to lead and performance manage a construction team to achieve agreed outcome
