About the role

As a Diesel Mechanic - Component Rebuild Specialist at Gateway Equipment Parts and Services, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment components. This full-time role is based in High Wycombe WA 6057, and will see you working as part of a skilled team to provide critical services to the mining industry.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, repair and overhaul a variety of heavy machinery components

Disassemble, inspect, clean, rebuild and test components such as transmissions, differentials, Final Drives and more

Provide expert advice and technical guidance to support the maintenance and repair of equipment

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

Collaborate with the wider team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime

Document all work activities and maintain detailed records

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent

Substantial experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong background in component overhaul and rebuild

In-depth knowledge of heavy machinery systems and components

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
