Policy Advisor (Child Protection)

We are looking for a highly motivated person to fill the role of Policy Advisor - Child Protection, in the Office of the Hon. Kate Washington MP, NSW Minister for Families and Communities, and Disability Inclusion. This role will focus primarily on child protection, out-of-home care, and early intervention and prevention matters.

The successful candidate will require a strong interest, understanding and background in public policy, and an understanding of the NSW political system.

This is a full-time ongoing role which is based at 52 Martin Place, Sydney.

· You are able to draft accurate and detailed correspondence, speaking notes and other written material.

· You are adaptable, resilient and agile, and able to contribute to a small, fast-paced team.

· You are flexible and willing to travel and work outside normal hours as required.

Salary

$130,000 - $150,000 pa based on experience.
