Are you a hands-on individual with a keen interest in machinery and engineering? Our client is currently seeking a Trainee Machine Setter / Maintenance Technician to join their small team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop practical skills in machine setting and equipment maintenance, with full training provided on the job.

Monday to Friday

Immediate start

Dayshift hours - 7am to 3pm

Job tasks and responsibilities:
The following duties may be required of you (not limited to)

Set and operate plastic fabrication machines and thermoforming machines

Assist adjusting plastic manufacturing machines

Monitor machine performance and quality of output.

Learn to identify and preform minor troubleshooting for common machine issues.

Ensure safety procedures and company standards are always followed.

Conduct basic quality control and quality maintenance checks during production

(Inline with HACCP and ISO requirements)

Assisting with general warehouse tasks when required, including receiving, storage and dispatch

General cleaning duties when required

What We’re Looking For:

Enthusiastic and reliable with a strong work ethic.

Interest in mechanical or technical work (experience is a plus but not essential).

Previous experience in manufacturing or factory experience

Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a small team.

Forklift license preferred but not essential

Enjoys varied work and flexibility across roles
