About the role

Join Bright West Logistics' as a HR Driver based in Altona North, VIC. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using heavy rigid vehicles across Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your driving expertise and road transport experience to support the company's logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate heavy rigid vehicles to transport Dangerous goods and materials to various locations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies

Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation

Liaise with the dispatch team to coordinate efficient delivery schedules

Support the loading and unloading of vehicles as needed

Provide exceptional customer service to clients

35-45hours per week

Start and finish at Altona.

What we're looking for

Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license with Dangerous goods license

Proven experience as a commercial vehicle driver, preferably in the road transport industry

Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively
