Second Class Welder

We are currently seeking a Second Class Welder to join our teams based in Brisbane! A variety on locations available for long term work!

This is a full time position that leads to permanent work. You will be working with medium to heavy steel products for the structural and mining industries.

Duties include -

• Working closely with trade assistants and Boilermakers
• Grinding, measuring and cutting steel
• General workshop duties
• MIG welding of steel
• Reading basic engineering drawings

Duration and Conditions -

• Immediate Interviews and start
• Permanent AFTER completing probation period
• Payrate: $35/hr + penalties
• Full Time Position
• Located in Archerfield - Other locations also available!

Requirements and Experience -

• Minimum of 2 years MIG welding experience
• Experience working on heavy steel preferred
• Basic fabrication experience is an advantage
• Reliable transport and valid licence
• Own basic tools preferred but not required
• Forklift licence highly advantageous
