Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) to support Generative AI applications.

Build and maintain high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or AWS Glue to process customer and transaction data.

Optimize data workflows for cost, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to enable real-time AI insights.

Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and business teams to integrate data pipelines with Gen AI models for personalized customer experiences.

Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with retail industry standards and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to support uninterrupted AI-driven operations.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer

Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services, with a focus on supporting AI/ML workloads.

Strong skills in SQL, Python, and data modeling for customer-centric data warehouse design.

Hands-on experience with pipeline tools like Airflow, Prefect, or AWS Step Functions.

Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Snowflake) and data integration for AI applications.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with real-time data streaming (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis) for customer behavior analytics.

Knowledge of AI/ML data preparation or feature stores (e.g., Feast, Tecton).

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) for cloud deployments.

Understanding of retail customer data platforms or CRM systems.
