The Role:

• Step into a high-impact role where innovation meets accounting - work with forward-thinking professionals driving change in the industry.
• Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of SME and startup clients, delivering compliance, tax, and advisory services that truly make a difference.
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns (company, trust, individual & SMSF), and BAS with cutting-edge cloud-based tools like Xero.
• Get involved in business improvement and automation projects, this isn’t just number crunching; it’s about helping clients grow and innovate.
• Collaborate closely with Partners and Managers who are passionate about mentoring and developing future leaders.
• Be part of a team that embraces remote tech, AI tools, and paperless workflows.
• Expand your advisory skills by working on cash flow forecasting, tax planning, and virtual CFO work.

About You:

• 2+ years' experience working in an Australian Public Accounting Firm.
• Commenced or looking to commence your CA/CPA.
• Exposure to a range of SME clients and competency in CGT, FBT and Division 7a.
• A problem solver and go-getter, you possess the ability to think on your feet and outside of the box!
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• A real passion for accounting & business, with a natural flare in helping businesses with everyday needs, turning complexity into clarity!
• Exposure to XPM is highly advantageous!
