$124,785 to $ 133,441 per annum (Level HEO9)
Plus 17% employer superannuation
Salary packaging options are available
5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum

About the role
Join our team and step into a pivotal role at UNE. We’re looking for a Cyber Security Risk Analyst with proven, extensive experience to work at our Armidale or Parramatta campus, or remotely. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying and managing cyber risks across our digital environment, lead enterprise-wide cyber risk assessments, identify and analyse emerging threats and help shape our strategy to protect our digital assets and data. You’ll evaluate and enhance security controls, provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on mitigating risks and stay ahead of evolving threat landscapes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have at least three years’ proven experience in a senior cyber security risk analyst role and be a detail-oriented and analytical cybersecurity professional who excels in applying risk management principles to the evaluation of security risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies. You will have the ability to interpret complex security frameworks and regulatory requirements to provide valuable insights into strengthening UNE’s security posture. You’ll be a team player working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop risk-based solutions and you’ll have the ability to translate technical risks for stakeholders at all levels. You are proactive and committed to continuous learning to stay ahead of emerging threats and evolving cyber security landscapes.
About the Faculty/Group
Technology and Digital Services provide information services to the whole of UNE to support all IT activities within UNE. It provides knowledge and leadership to support the academic, research and service activities of the University by deploying technology services, either centrally or dispersed, across the University. The Directorate works closely with the university community to understand and support their needs in meeting the university’s strategic objectives.
