Role: Senior Solution Architect
Daily Rate: $875 - $1183 + Super
Contract Length: Initial 3-months (likely extension)

We're on the lookout for a Senior Solution Architect to join a fast-paced, transformation-driven team in Sydney. This short-term but high-impact role is ideal for an experienced architect who thrives in bridging business needs with innovative tech solutions.

You'll take ownership of end-to-end solution designs, guiding projects from concept through to deployment, while influencing strategic direction and aligning with enterprise architecture frameworks. It's a hands-on, leadership-heavy position, collaborating with stakeholders across business and tech teams to design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Own the solution lifecycle from design through build, test, implementation, and beyond

Partner with stakeholders across business and IT to gather requirements and present viable solution options

Facilitate workshops to drive design consensus and technical buy-in

Document solution architecture across all relevant domains: application, integration, infrastructure, security, and data

Ensure traceability of designs to project goals, adapting as needed while maintaining governance

Present solutions to the Architecture Review Board and influence strategic direction

Collaborate cross-functionally, including with enterprise architects, developers, testers, BAs, and project managers

Promote architectural best practices and continuous improvement within the team

About You

Minimum 8 years' experience in solution architecture or a related leadership role

Proven technical leadership and stakeholder management across large, complex initiatives

Expertise in Salesforce platforms (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud), with hands-on knowledge of Apex, LWC, integrations, and performance tuning

Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, application design, data modeling, and system integration

Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal-with the ability to translate technical detail into business value

Demonstrated success in end-to-end solution delivery, including HLD, NFRs, and DLD documentation

Experience working with multi-vendor environments and navigating competing priorities

Desirable

Experience in insurance or financial services

Certifications in TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks

Salesforce CRM Solution Architect certification

Exposure to Guidewire, Mulesoft, and AWS services
