Established in 2010, Brisbane Criminal Lawyers is a boutique law firm based in the Brisbane CBD, representing clients across Queensland. We deal exclusively in Criminal and Domestic Violence matters and have built a reputation for success.
We now have a rare opportunity for an experienced criminal lawyer to join our team.
Your Role:
You will be responsible for the end to end management of criminal matters, from initial consultation to completion at sentence or trial. As an experienced criminal lawyer, you'll know what this entails.
About You:
You will need to be
confident and present well for sentences and trials in the magistrates court,
a good communicator and negotiator for to work well with clients, colleagues and prosecutors,
proactive in getting the job done right and in the best interest of your clients,
experienced in criminal law to know your way around procedures, directions, legislation and the courts,
a good researcher to ensure you have the all the right information for your case,
an active learner so you can keep improving and growing with the practice.
Mandatory
Minimum 3 years post admission experience in Criminal Law.
Desirable
Experience using LEAP Legal,
Experience managing DV applications and response matters,
Experience with Legal Aid criminal matters and LAQ admin.
