KB Infinity Support are looking for 3 dedicated Support Workers to work with a number of our NDIS participants across the Sunshine Coast.

THE APPLICANT

This position requires FEMALE support workers to apply.

All applicants need to have the relevant industry qualifications, an NDIS Worker Screening Card, a clean full drivers licence/ vehicle and excellent communication and time-keeping skills.

The following would all be desired, but not essential for applicants;

Two or more years experience in the disability sector

A good knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder

Skills and knowledge in the challenges of someone with communication difficulties

Experience with physical disabilities

Manual Handling Training

Experience in High Intensity Care

Experience in Peg Feeding

Experience in managing staff (with the possibility of becoming a Team Leader)

OUR CLIENTS

We are looking for the following types of support for our participants;

PALMVIEW SIL HOME - 2 adult women with varying physical disabilities. Hoisting and Peg Feeding is required. The ladies are beautiful inside and out and we have the most incredible team of staff that have created a wonderful environment. Personal care supports, community participation, food preparation etc are just some of the responsibilities in this home.

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT - a lady in her early 60's looking for female support workers, with life experience (above 40 years old if possible). To take her out in the community, but also to be supported within her own home and some personal care supports. Located centrally on the Sunshine Coast.

We are also looking for workers that can work with other participants, all of whom have differing disabilities. This can be within our other 2 SIL homes or providing community participation supports.
