About the opportunity
AUSTRAC is looking for an ICT Professional to perform the varied role of Senior Analyst, IT Service Desk within AUSTRAC’s Brisbane Office.
The successful candidate will become a key member of the IT Service Desk function, within AUSTRAC’s Innovation and Technology Solutions Branch.

The key duties of the position include:
The Senior Analyst IT Service Desk, will under limited supervision:
- Take ownership of IT Support in the Brisbane Office, whilst developing positive relationships with Brisbane based staff, and VIP and executive support.
- Ability to develop strong professional relationships within a geographically dispersed team.
- Responsible for 2nd level support of IT technologies, with a willingness to provide 1st level support as required.
- May be required to participate in project work as new services are developed and implemented.
- Have the ability to approach complex technical issues and problems in an analytical and methodical manner.
- Mentoring junior service desk staff, whilst sharing knowledge and experience and helping to promote a high performing team.
- Ability to work in a Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, M365, Active Directory/Azure and Microsoft Exchange environment.

This recruitment process will initially be used to fill a current vacancy and in future, may be used to fill similar positions in the event positions become vacant. The merit pools established from this recruitment process will be valid for 18 months from the date of advertising.
