About the role

WONDER KIDS OT' is seeking an experienced Mobile Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in surrounding Cranbourne, VIC. This part-time role will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with various needs, helping them develop essential life skills and independence.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each child's unique strengths, challenges, and therapy goals

Passion for working with children aged 0 - 18 years old with their families

Develop and implement customised treatment plans to address fine motor, gross motor, sensory, and cognitive skills

Collaborate with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care

Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions in a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment

Monitor progress, document outcomes, and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed

Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices

What we're looking for

Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Preferable NDIS experience and understanding

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with children, preferably in a paediatric or school-based setting

Strong clinical skills in areas such as fine/gross motor, sensory processing, and cognitive/behavioural interventions

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with children and collaborate effectively with families and other professionals

Passion for making a difference in the lives of children with diverse needs
