Rockmate Landscape Supplies is seeking a dynamic and driven Yard & Retail Manager to lead operations across our bulk product yard and retail store. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving sales, managing staff and machinery, and ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in developing efficient systems, and has a genuine passion for building strong teams and great customer relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Overseeing daily operations across the yard and retail store

Managing staff schedules, training, and performance

Coordinating logistics and maintaining efficient delivery operations

Managing inventory, stock levels, and product procurement

Driving both B2B and B2C sales and achieving revenue targets

Ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant worksite—including equipment maintenance and OH&S

Leading customer service standards and resolving escalated inquiries

Reporting on sales, inventory, and financial performance

Working closely with suppliers to maintain competitive pricing and margins

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a leadership or operations role within the landscape, building, or trade supply industry

Strong knowledge of retail and yard operations, inventory systems, and logistics

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Sound business acumen and the ability to meet sales and profitability targets

Strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance

Hands-on approach with the ability to jump in where needed and lead by example
