Warehouse & Dispatch Trainee – Productive Team Player Wanted
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Gold Coast, QLD
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do — someone who sees what needs to be done and gets stuck in. Someone who takes pride in being dependable, proactive and contributing to a team that gets results.
Wear Parts Australia (WPA) is growing, and we’re excited to offer an opportunity for the right person to join our Warehouse and Dispatch team in a Traineeship role. No formal experience? That’s okay. What matters most is your willingness to work hard, support others, and learn.
Who Are WPA?
WPA is an Australian-owned business that designs, manufactures and distributes replacement parts (specifically ground engaging tools) for heavy earthmoving equipment. We supply both retail and wholesale customers across Australia — and now internationally.
We’re not your average warehouse team. We’re driven by outcomes, grounded in teamwork, and proud of what we achieve. Every role at WPA is critical to the success of the whole — so we’re only looking for people who want to contribute, grow, and stick around.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, fast-moving, and physically active role. You’ll be:
Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Assisting with stock receipt, rotation, and control
Following safe work procedures at all times
Supporting our sales, admin and customer service teams through reliable dispatch performance
Operating a forklift (if licensed — otherwise, we’ll help you get certified)
We don’t believe in silos. You’ll work with people from every department and play a key part in delivering the exceptional service our customers expect.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll fit right in if you:
✅ Have a history of getting things done – whether in paid work, school, sport, or other activities
✅ Are reliable – others can count on you to follow through
✅ Work well in a team and enjoy supporting others
✅ Have a positive attitude and take responsibility for your results
✅ Are physically fit and happy being on your feet most of the day
✅ Are willing to learn, listen and improve
What You’ll Get in Return
A stable, full-time role with set hours Monday to Friday
On-the-job training tailored to your skills
Support to complete a Certificate III in Warehousing
Genuine career opportunities in a growing company
A workplace culture that values productivity, contribution, and results
Mentoring from experienced professionals who want to see you succeed
This Role Is Not for You If…
✘ You need to be micromanaged
✘ You don’t enjoy physical work
✘ You see this as “just a job”
✘ You’re just looking for short-term work
How to Apply
We want to hear about what you’ve done — not just a list of jobs or grades. Tell us about how you’ve contributed in the past, where you’ve made a difference, or where others have relied on you. That’s what we care about.
Apply with your resume and a short message explaining why you’re a great fit for our team.
Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
