About the opportunity
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our MR (unrestricted) Truck Driver at our Wingfield StarTrack facility, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!

We have a full time permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday paying $30.81/hr + 12% superannuation and overtime rates after 8 hours (flexibility is required). A rostered day off is also in place.

We also have a more flexible part time opportunity working 9am-3pm Mon-Fri. Great for those who love their driving but require a little more flex in their working hours!

You’ll be

• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
• Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility.
• Driving our modern trucks between StarTrack Wingfield and our residential, industrial and commercial customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups.

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

You’ll also need to

• Hold a relevant unrestricted MR license.
• Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
• Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
• Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
• Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130 kgs or less.
• Be prepared to undergo a driving assessment, a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and nationally coordinated criminal history checks.
