Casual Factory Labourers – Freeze-Dried Fruit Production

We are a locally owned freeze-dried fruit manufacturer seeking casual factory labourers to join our hardworking production team based on the Mornington Peninsula.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role in a fast-paced, food-grade environment. You’ll be involved in all aspects of our production process — from preparing and loading fruit to cleaning, packing, and record-keeping. For the right candidates, there is potential for ongoing full-time work.

Duties include:

Sorting, preparing, and loading fruit into freeze dryers

Unloading and packaging finished product

Manual handling and frequent lifting (10–20kg)

Cleaning equipment and work areas to food safety standards

Completing batch records and basic documentation

Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Requirements:

Must be physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting

Able to stand for long periods and keep up in a fast-paced environment

Good personal hygiene and willingness to complete a Food Safety or Food Handler Certificate

Available to work Monday to Friday between 8am–5pm

Occasional Saturday mornings may be required

Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
