ABOUT THE ROLE:

Position : Full Time Store Assistant with Supervisory duties Palmerston (1) & Coolalinga (1)

Location : Palmerston & Coolalinga, Northern Territory

Pay Rate: Hourly Rate at $25.65 - $27.17 based on General Retail Industry Award

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Retail Supervisory Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail setting

• Sales Passion: Demonstrate a genuine passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Merchandising Skills: Exhibit excellent stock management and strong merchandising skills.

• Stock take Experience: Bring experience in stocktaking to the role. – but not necessary

• Technical Proficiency: Have intermediate computer skills and prior experience with retail point-

of-sale systems.

• Long-term Commitment: Be actively seeking a long-term opportunity where you can make a

lasting impact.

• Team Leadership: Enjoy leading a team, inspiring them to deliver their best performance.

• Availability: Be willing to work weekends and travel as required.

Skills and Experience:

Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

• Leadership: Effectively lead, motivate, and manage the team to surpass sales targets.

• Visual Merchandising: Skillfully merchandise the store to optimise the environment and drive

sales.

• Human Resources: Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.

• Roster Management: Efficiently handle scheduling to ensure smooth store operations.

• Stock Management: Implement effective stock management strategies for inventory control.

• Store Maintenance: Oversee general store maintenance, including housekeeping, paperwork,

and stock receipting.
