About the role:

Join our team at Karridale Group, prioritising safety and diversity. We specialize in fixed plant maintenance, serving as a leading provider in the WA mining industry. As we prepare for a few busy months of shutdowns, we look forward to working with you. We're seeking Rubber Liners with mining or/and workshop experience.

Key ingredients to ensure success in the role:

· Experience in both cold & hot vulcanization rubber lining

· Sand blasting and painting skills desired

· Surface preparation of rubber and metal materials

· Competence in the use of grinders, buffs, rubber lining knives & equipment

· Ability to apply rubber lining to pipes, spools, launders, agitator blades, chutes, tanks, valves, hoppers and similar items

· Ability to cut and line complicated shapes

· Ability to cut thin and thick rubber by hand, cutting correct lengths of skives required

· The ability to read and follow drawings

· Ensure all equipment is maintained & stored in good working condition

· Attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment

· Promote safety by working and adhering to company safety guidelines which includes (but is not limited to) the proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment, materials and the use of personal protective gear

· Oversee and guide standard operating procedures and participate in quality control testing processes.

Essential Requirements for the role:

· Demonstrated commitment to safety

· Minimum of 12 months continuous experience as a Rubber Liner, ideally in mining or a similar industry

· White Card

· Confined Space (Within 2 years as it is a site requirement)

· Working at Heights (Within 2 years as it is a site requirement)

· Overhead Gantry Crane (Desirable)

· Forklift (Desirable)

· Mask fit testing for a clean-shaven site

· Australian Driver's License
