Wyndham Steel Solutions are a well-established small family Melbourne-based structural steel company, specialising in fabricating and installing structural steel for residential and commercial construction projects. Due to ongoing growth and business demands, we are looking for a dedicated, reliable and well-rounded Steel Fabricator / Installer to join our team in a hybrid role.

About the Role:

Fabrication and welding of structural steel beams/columns.

Reading and comprehending steel shop drawings in order to complete fabrication duties and set out on construction sites.

Assisting with the installation of structural steel on residential and commercial sites.

Loading and unloading steel within the workshop.

Using basic hand and power tools.

Operation of forklift within the workshop.

Optional but preferred – HR License to operate company trucks

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in structural steel industry, particularly as a boilermaker / fabricator.

Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience with Welding and Fabrication of steel products.

Site installation experience is preferred, however ongoing training is available if willing.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual Labour.

Good knowledge of hand and power tools.

Ability to follow instructions and work in a close team environment.

White Card

Full Australian Driver’s license ( HR License is preferred )

Forklift License

Dogging and Riggers License obtained is preferred but training can be offered to the right candidate.
