Workfast is looking for a Asphalt Worker with HR License to join our client's depot starting in North Melbourne, VIC.

• $34.08 per hour + OT penalties + super

In this role, you'll be working as part of a team involved in road construction or maintenance, specifically focusing on the operation of a HR vehicle and asphalting tasks. You will also be required to do general labouring and site clean-up where needed.

What you need

• Must hold a HR licence
• Must have a Work With Children's Check
• Clear driving record
• Be able and willing to pass drug & alcohol testing
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Hardworking, honest & reliable character with a positive attitude
• Be available to start immediately

What you will be doing

• Working with the asphalt team and helping out with tasks on-site
• Driving HR Vehicle to travel between site and depot
• Assisting with laying and spreading asphalt on roads, driveways, and carparks
• Operating basic tools and machinery (e.g. rakes, shovels, plate compactors)
• General labouring and site clean-up where needed
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete the daily task
