WHAT WE ARE NOT - BORING BUREAUCRACY
We are not a corporate, stuffy environment where people are judged on the clothes they wear and the shininess of their shoes. In summer we are all about thongs, the Australian not US variety or flip flops as our English representative calls them (we are working on that). We are not politically correct nor desire to be unless we are dealing with clients and candidates and when we are we do everything by the book. We do not discriminate, and our people come from all walks of life. There is a lot of banter, and we all push each other to do our best. We certainly don’t sit in a circle at the end of the week with a mood cushion to let the group know our feelings. Think of our company like survivor where everyone is on the same team, and we know that the challenge is out in the market never inside our crew. We all work together to get the maximum possible result without all the unnecessary metrics that people conform to inside large corporates just to check a box. Our team often comments about comradery, if they are being nice to you that is problem, it is when they are giving you stick, and you return fire that you know you belong. Despite or most likely because of this we are a close-knit team where everyone has each other’s back.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS - INTENSE SOLUTION SALES
First of all, it is full on. There is no doubt about it. You are about to embark on one of the most challenging roles you will ever do. Having said that the rewards are worth it. Not only monetarily but also in satisfaction of changing people’s lives and adding significant revenue to companies. This role revolves around being pro-active and the vast majority is phone-based work but very heavily oriented towards solution and comprehensive sales. This is not a position where you are calling up about a static product, things change with every phone call, and you need to be not only adaptable but also the ultimate problem solver. Further to that you must be pro-active to make new business cold calls, and this is a primary (initial) part of the role. The good part is you own what you develop so as you build this role will change from 100% cold calling (new desk building) to account management. If you are good, you will transition to 50% account management within 3-5 years. If you are great, it will be less than that (but it’s hard). You will be engaging with both clients and candidates in this full 360 role. (If you know what that is great, if not we will explain it to you.) Realistically you will spend most of your time on the phone, working both sides and driving opportunities that you will create. You will get some face time (hello teams and technology) but most of your time is spent on the phone making things happen. You will control the entire process from prospecting to close, and of course you will receive guidance and support for every step along the journey with your experienced sales manager and principal who understand and recruit full time in the business and have done so for over 29 years between them.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING - WHO YOU ARE
Your A Game. Not only that you need to bring it every day and always be switched on and ready to go. This is a fast-paced role and, like dodge ball, if you do not keep moving you are going to be knocked out. To maximise your chance of success you really need to have some experience in a phone-based solution sales role.

WHAT YOU GET - THE REWARDS

You get support from everyone in the business and most importantly uninterrupted and immediate access to your sales manager and the principal so that any question you have is immediately sorted out so you can move forward. What about onboarding and induction? Yup, we have you covered. Our onboarding is like the immersion experience you get a Team Planet Lab in Tokyo; it is beyond belief until you have experienced it. You will be completely trained so once you hit the starting line you are completely ready to go. Every single tool and support function you need is sorted. And then? Then it is up to you.
EARNING POTENTIAL - THE GOOD STUFF
Of course, there is a base salary in this role so you can keep your head above water whilst you build to the good stuff, lucrative commissions. The true earning comes for our uncapped commission structure which has accelerators for revenue targets and is paid monthly (not quarterly or annually). After all, if you have brought in the billings, you should be paid for them, not have them held in a company account for months or even a whole year. Whilst you learn your role in the 1st year, realistic earning potential is $120K including base and commissions. Years 2 and 3 are where it gets exciting and the return on your efforts amplify. Earning potential ramps up to between $150-200K as you establish and of course is always uncapped. Simply if you put in the effort and adopt our approach, we can make you on of the top percentage earners in Australia.
