About the Organisation:

They are looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join their North Brisbane office, working in the Business Services team. This is a phenomenal opportunity for a young and motivated accountant who wants access to incredible development opportunities, while also working in a fun and dynamic environment with plenty of social perks! They are a highly energetic team with a fairly young demographic, who enjoy a brilliant 'work hard, play harder' mentality!

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing tax returns and financial statements for all entities (partnerships, companies, trusts, individuals) up to $50million
• Offering client support by answering queries directly
• Engaging in some complex tax calculations such as Div7a, CGT and FBT
• Collaborating with the partner and manager on multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Potentially reviewing some junior or offshore work

Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years' experience working in a public practice accounting firm in the tax or business services team
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax compliance and laws
• Pursuing or open to pursuing CPA or CA qualification
• Experience using Xero and Microsoft Suite
• Someone who is motivated by growth and building strong client relationships
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
