YOUR IMPACT

This role is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of all sorts of goods, whether food or grocery items.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Deliver/ Receiving of Donations of Food and Grocery items:

Deliver and Collect donations by truck pick up based on daily run schedules. Be adaptable and assist customers with loading and unloading of trucks where applicable, making sure you follow CoR Principles and NHVR rules and regulations.

Ensure all paperwork is filled in accurately and as needed.

Ensure that goods are clearly identified at point of collection as Chiller, Ambient or Freezer.

Preparation of Food Orders:

Pick and fill orders for agencies and interstate transfers, organise completed orders securely on a pallet or trolley for collection from the despatch area. Load intra/interstate freight.

Deliver Quality Control and Assurance:

Maintain close supervision of the trucks by monitoring right temperatures, cleanliness.

Safety & Sanitation:

Ensure the adherence to safe food handling practices HACCP and sanitary conditions in the workplace and vehicles, always maintaining a high degree of cleanliness.

Ensure vehicles are maintained and drivable. Report all safety issues, service and maintenance needs.

ESSENTIAL

HR truck licence (willing to get HC), NSW driver's licence

Knowledge of CoR Principles and NHVR rules and regulations

Forklift licence (essential)

Warehouse experience - FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) desirable

Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20 kg

Good communication skills, customer service oriented with a pleasant manner

Knowledge of HACCP and ability to maintain food safety standards

Highly committed to and knowledge of WHS

Ability to manage competing priorities and schedules

Travel to both metropolitan and intrastate regions for deliveries and pop-ups (including overnight stays)
