7R Logistics is a well-established and highly respected milk transport business. With a commitment to loyalty, high vehicle and driving standards, automatic, safe and comfortable Scania prime movers and well-maintained tankers, 7R is proud to have a great local team of skilled professionals. With the team working well together, we're looking for a driver/supervisor to give hands-on support for both the drivers and the new depot manager Martin.

The Role

The work involves collecting milk from local farms and delivering to local factories on some shifts, or driving to change-over points in SA on other shifts. This means there's plenty of variety and interest in the work. There are processes you'll learn around food hygiene and safety, and we'll also work with you on driving routines and schedules too.

Shift length is often in the 10-14 hour range, and you can go home at the end of every shift – no away trips. There is no time-pressure, and we encourage you to drive carefully and take the breaks you need to manage your safety and fatigue.

The roster for the team covers 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, with drivers rotating through days on and off fairly. There are often opportunities for extra work, so long as we know your fatigue is being managed. The roster is set out in advance, so you can plan your home and work life balance.

Training is provided – all you'll need is evidence of:

• HC or MC B-Double license and a clean driving record
• Tanker experience is NOT essential.
• Your ability to be self-directed and self-disciplined.
• Good positive behaviours, including courtesy, hygiene and communication.
• A history of working to a high professional and safety standards.
• A positive, solution-oriented attitude with a willingness to listen, learn and contribute to the Company.
