The Package: $47.53 - $52.52 gross per hour + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

A merit pool will be established from this recruitment process that will be utilised for similar positions across Braidwood, Bungendore and Queanbeyan.

In this role you will:

Deliver professional customer service across multiple channels, assisting with inquiries about roads, waste, water, sewer, and parks.

Support internal departments by responding to customer inquiries and providing general administrative assistance, including processing invoices and maintaining records.

Manage a variety of Council-related payment transactions accurately and efficiently.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience in customer service with a focus on friendly and positive interactions.

Is familiar with Microsoft Office and comfortable working with electronic records.

Has previous experience in cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and daily banking functions.
