We are looking for a 1st or 2nd Year French Polishing Apprentice to join our skilled team.

Germax Interiors is known for exceptional quality and customer service specialising in custom made joinery and furniture for the commercial sector for over 40 years.

About you:

Bright, enthusiastic person who is keen to learn

Reliable and punctual

Keen eye for detail & professional communication skills

In your role as a French Polisher your tasks will involve but not limited to:

Application of clear coatings, paints, lacquer, stains, and oils to cabinetry, including veneer

Sanding of raw materials, clear coatings, and paints

Colour matching to samples

Gain knowledge of pressure pots, pot guns, compressed air, and spray guns

Maintenance of polish shop and spray equipment

Measuring and calculating, reading, and interpreting work documents

Working in joinery workshop to gain hands-on knowledge and experience in cabinet making
