The Position

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a Geriatrician to join on a Full Time basis. The role is a new approach to support transitional care and is based in our community service department with close ties to acute inpatient services. It will involve both inpatient and community-based care, including remote care.

This is a 165 bed Tertiary Teaching Hospital, located one hours’ flight from Melbourne CBD. The hospital is known for its great work culture and supportive environment made up of both Australian and International doctors. The doctors we have placed here have shared amazing feedback and have stayed at Mildura for many years. The hospital is a regional facility catering to a population of over 50,000.

The Requirements
To apply you must either be:

Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience

Hold the FRACP

On RACP training program soon to hold FRACP

IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ

IMG's with RACP interview date

IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
