Fair Play OOSH Edgeworth are looking for a bus driver / mentor to drive either our 25 seater or 14 seater bus.

We require a passionate bus driver / mentor to work 7.15am to 9.15am and 2.45pm to 4.45pm daily. We can offer more hours if you prefer.

Fair Play OOSH is a small privately owned before, after and vacation care provider wanting to be the best at what we do and not the BIGGEST. Yes, we are running a business but our number one priority is to ensure our staff is given the tools to succeed and that ALL children are given the option to attend OOSH and that money is no barrier.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Bus Driver / Mentor. This role involves transporting children safely to and from school and engaging them in meaningful activities during our OOSH session

Minimum 20 hours per week

Split shifts + split shift allowance daily

Drive children safely in a company vehicle to and from school and excursions

Ensure safety procedures and vehicle maintenance checks are followed

Supervise and engage children in activities that promote their development

Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the team

About You:

Valid NSW LR or Higher Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication skills and a nurturing attitude

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

General knowledge re maintenance of the buses i.e. tyre pressure, regular cleaning schedule

Ability to build and maintain strong positive relationships with staff and families

Ensuring the health and safety of the children in their care

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Administering first aid and medication, when required and fulfilling all associated legislative requirements
