Program Manager, Programs & Partnerships

Location: Parramatta (hybrid office & WFH)

Employment type: Temporary Full-Time up to 30 June 2027

Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10, $125,693 to $138,510 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

As part of the Programs & Partnerships team, you will be reporting to the Senior Program Manager and be responsible for managing and coordinating the development, delivery and evaluation of civil works and sustainability projects and take a project leadership role in the delivery of a diverse projects, initiatives and activities for our frontline services in Child Protection, Homes NSW, Youth Justice and Community Corrections and maintenance of our Disability Group Homes portfolio.

What you'll do

This is a unique opportunity to challenge yourself and expand your project/program management capability, which will provide you with valuable knowledge, insight and experience into best practice program and project management processes, governance, systems and tools.

The role will responsible for delivery of a planned program of minor civil works projects in our owned assets and sustainability projects in our workplaces with a key focus on establishing infrastructure to support our transition to Electric Vehicle fleet.

You will be working with a diverse and inclusive team in a flexible and agile working culture.

What we're looking for

As the successful candidate, you must demonstrate strong capabilities in line with the role description and per below:

  • You are able to provide examples of innovation and creativity in solving complex work problems, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to meet competing priorities and needs
  • You excel in building credible relationships, able to actively listen, understand and adjust your communication style to meet the needs of others
  • Previous experience in civil works and sustainability projects in commercial assets is essential
  • You can demonstrate your ability to be highly resilient and work well under pressure
  • You can undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence based best practice
  • You can provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project and priorities
  • Previous experience working in government is not essential
  • Some travel across NSW will be required to deliver to project objectives, a current NSW driving licence is required
