We are looking for a welder who is experienced with Mig welding of sheetmetal architectural products.

We need a self starter who can grab a concept and roll with it, some of our techniques are very basic and agricultural seeming, but proven over decades.

This work is carried out on basically every hospital, large hotel, high rise apartment building, shopping centre, Police station, University, factories, warehouses, service stations coal and petroleum refineries, vehicle testing grounds, army barracks, we go everywhere.

Ideally you have been proven capable of using hand held power tools to create cutouts in 1.1 & 1.6 mm folded sheetmetal, and able to perform excellent tack welding skills as well as finishing welds to a paintable standard.

The person will be required to travel from site to site occasionally, often working alone, as a valued and respected specialist in the construction industry.

Our work is based in the largest construction sites in Victorian, mainly in the metropolitan areas of Melbourne.

We usually offer company vans for our employees, depending on what they want, as they may choose to take the very generous travel allowance if they have their own LWB van. We can work in with other trade vehicles at first, but you will be needing a van, and ideally off street parking for our van if provided.

We offer a nine day fortnight and all overtime is double bubble.

You will need a proven work history with checkable references, Police check, Current Drivers License, Red or White Card, and full citizenship to be considered.
