About the role

Our client based in Condell Park, who are a reputable company specialising in new and used equipment for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. They are currently seeking a General Hand to join their team. This is a casual/temp position with a possible view to move to a permanent role. Great opportunity for candidates who want to work close to home!

Must be available Monday to Friday 6am-2.00pm

Key responsibilities

· Clean and maintain various types of Stainless Steel manufacturing machinery and equipment

· Identify repairs if needed

· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

· Maintain cleaning machinery in readiness to sell

· If needed some refresh painting of motors will be required

This machinery is purchased with the intention to clean up and resell, exceptionally clean environment!

About you

· Previous experience as a general hand maintaining machinery advantage

· Experience working in a manufacturing workshop or similar environment preferred

· Possess good attention to detail and possess high standards of cleanliness

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Physical fit to perform physical cleaning tasks

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and procedures

· Forklift license is preferred
