Introducing Saltair Modular

Saltair Modular is a multi-award-winning modular builder based in Coolum Beach, experiencing significant growth across new homes, secondary dwellings, social/affordable housing, and commercial/tourism projects. We're seeking a full-time full-time Forklift Operator/General Hand to join our team at our Coolum Beach, QLD facility. As a Forklift Operator/General Hand, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehousing, storage and distribution services.

What you'll be doing

Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload and transport goods and materials safely and efficiently

Assisting with the general maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse and storage facilities

Completing inventory checks and stock taking duties as required

Supporting the broader logistics team with ad-hoc tasks and projects

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehousing or logistics environment

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and methodically

Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy loads

A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A valid forklift licence and knowledge of relevant safety regulations

Manual drivers licence
