About the role

Aspire 2 Life PTY LTD is seeking experienced Aged Care Support Workers to join our team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This is a contract role, providing essential support and care to our elderly clients in the local community. As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our clients and helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing companionship, social engagement, and emotional support to clients

Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of care

Collaborating with the broader care team to implement care plans and achieve client-centred outcomes

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in aged care or disability support, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of the elderly

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

A compassionate, empathetic, and patient approach to care

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

A current certificate in aged care or disability support

A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
