About the role

We are seeking an experienced live-in caretaker/manager/housekeeper couple to join the team at Springbrook Mountain Chalets' in Springbrook, QLD. This is a contract position (ABN required), and the successful couple will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our picturesque mountain resort consisting of only 5 chalets.

We will consider a single applicant for the housekeeping role and one of the existing caretakers will stay on in which case income will be split 50/50.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service to our guests

Housekeeping and maintaining the chalets, grounds, and facilities to a high standard

Overseeing the booking process and coordinating guest arrivals and departures

Performing minor maintenance and repairs as needed

Ensuring the resort is secure and well-presented at all times

Assisting with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and inventory management

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar caretaker, manager, and housekeeping role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry

Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Hands-on experience with maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

A passion for the outdoors and a love of mountain living
