Position Overview: We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Manager to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Manager at 3BlackSHEDS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth running, the cleanliness and upkeep of our accommodations, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. This position offers a minimum of 15 hours but up to 30 hours per week as demand requires. The pay rate is $38 per hour Monday to Friday, $45 on Saturdays (minimum 2 hours) and $57 on Sundays and Public Holidays (minimum 2 hours).

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the online booking ledger, accurately recording reservations, check-ins, and check-outs to facilitate efficient guest management and billing processes.

Respond to email and phone enquiries promptly and professionally, providing information about accommodations, rates, and availability.

Organise and fulfil guest requests, ensuring that their needs are met during their stay, whether it be arranging transportation, dining reservations, or other special accommodations.

Clean and prepare guest accommodations to the highest standards before check-in.

Ensure all areas of the accommodations, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces, are spotless.

Manage the laundry, replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed.

Perform regular deep-cleaning tasks and maintenance to keep accommodations in excellent condition.

Collaborate with the management team to ensure all guest requests and special instructions are met.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.

Breakfast is included in our rate so order and purchase guest provisions such as bread, bacon, eggs, milk etc, and other necessary items to ensure the guests requirements are met.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Excellent time management skills.

Basic computer knowledge.

Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed.

Knowledge of the King Valley and its attractions is a plus.
