About the role

We are seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to join our team at Lead Electrical in Melbourne, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks across predominantly residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

• Performing electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair work to the highest standards
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics and work orders
• Conducting electrical safety inspections and testing
• Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices
• Mentoring and training apprentice electricians as required
• Supervising and running jobs with young teams of apprentices

What we're looking for

• A valid A Grade Electrician's Licence
• 5 years' experience as a qualified A Grade Electrician (Preferable but not compulsory)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and equipment installation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and work orders
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety and a strong focus on quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A reliable, organised and proactive approach to your work
• Willing to travel across Melbourne
