The Opportunity

We are seeking Mental Health specialising Registered Nurses to join our team at Dudley Private Hospital. This role would suit someone with an interest in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and who is passionate for providing innovative non-pharmacological interventions to more people. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

Your duties in this role will include:

• Administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment
• Maintaining case notes and preparing patient progress reports
• Participation in case reviews to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Assessing patient safety and response to treatment and recording psychometrics
• Conducting risk assessments and providing psychoeducation as required
• Adherence to internal clinical and treatment protocols and AHPRA guidelines where applicable
• Making a difference for patients with complex psychiatric conditions in everyday work
• Following the treatment protocols and ensuring a positive experience for our patients

Skills and Experience

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years mental health nursing experience.
• Recent experience on a medical ward
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
• Ability to work a rotating roster

Remuneration

On offer is hourly base salary of $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
