Job Description

· Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials

· Build or repair frameworks, flooring, doors, walls, roof and other wooden structures

· Install fixtures such as cabinets, shelves, windows, hinges, locks, handles

· Sand and finish surfaces using stains, paints, or varnishes.

· Read blueprints and follow technical drawings

· Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently

· Ensure work meets building codes and safety standards
