About the role

We are seeking experienced professionals with strong analytical skills to join our team as Senior Investigators.

We currently have two fixed-term opportunities available for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency – one full-time and one part-time (0.6 FTE).

The role:

Investigate complaints and assess information, including preparing investigation plans, gathering evidence from relevant sources through appropriate means, collecting witness statements, conducting records of interview and preparing briefs of evidence in a format that is admissible for disciplinary or court proceedings.

Attend court or the State Administrative Tribunal and present evidence if required

Undertake activities to detect and investigate work being carried out by unregistered service providers

Liaise with relevant industry organisations, stakeholders and consumers with regard to compliance issues

Essential requirements for this role:

Demonstrated experience in conducting complex investigations.

Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying legislation, policy, procedure and guidelines to produce reports and recommendation.
