We are currently seeking Boilermakers to join our client’s team in Mayfield North who specialise within the Oil & Gas industry. If you're a qualified Boilermaker with experience in construction and/or fabrication of SMP Projects we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welds to Australian and International standards
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Install pipework and pipework assemblies (+/- 2mm)
• Undertake dogging and operate forklift and overhead cranes
• Carry out fabrication, assembly, and welding in accordance with IFC drawings (+/- 2mm)
• Carry out heat treatment
• Follow fabrication, assembly, and welding activities in accordance with project Inspection and Test Plans
• Perform operational maintenance of machines/equipment
• Ensuring quality and safety standards are met

Key Requirements:

• Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker)
• Pass weld test to ISO 9606.1, 3G and 4G using FCAW process
• Pass weld test to ISO 9606.1, 2G and 3G using GMAW process
• Pass weld test to ISO 9606.1, 3G and 4G using MMAW process
• Pass weld test to AS/NZS 3992, 6G using GTAW process
• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
• White Card, Forklift Ticket, Working at Heights, EWP, Confined Space (mandatory)
• ideally experience with maintenance on Heavy Mining equipment and machines (not essential) as our client is open to experience
• Must able to complete drug & alcohol test prior to start
