What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty vehicles, trucks, and mining support equipment

Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance to maximise safety and performance

Dismantle, inspect, and replace worn or faulty components and systems

Perform thorough testing and adjustments to ensure quality workmanship

Maintain accurate service records and parts documentation

Communicate with clients to assess needs and provide informed technical guidance

Contribute to ongoing improvements in maintenance and repair procedures

What We’re Looking For

A recognised trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical or Diesel Fitting

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an HD Mechanic, preferably in a mining or heavy transport setting

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities

Solid mechanical knowledge and a proactive, hands-on approach

Familiarity with truck systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical diagnostics

Ability to work autonomously and within a team

Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset

Commitment to safe work practices and WHS standards
