About the role

Veera Transport PTY LTD is seeking an experienced HC/MC Driver to join our dynamic team in Maddington, WA. As a casual employee, this role offers the flexibility to balance work and personal commitments. You will play a vital part in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate heavy vehicles such as rigid trucks and semi-trailers to transport a variety of goods
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any issues
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate records of driving times, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and in good condition
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required

What we're looking for

• Valid HC/MC driver's licence with a strong driving history
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy vehicles in a commercial setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations
