The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking applications for multiple Senior Listings Officers, to join the National Listings team.

These positions can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney.

These roles will be offered on an ongoing and non-ongoing capacity of 12 -months with the possibility of extension.

Remuneration: The annual salary range for these positions are APS5 - $85,755 - $91,809 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.

About the opportunity:

The Senior Listing Officer plays an important role in ensuring cases are listed and allocated to members in accordance with agreed principles and documented procedures, and with regard to the accessibility needs of users and the Tribunal’s overarching objectives.

The position provides opportunities for you to expand your skillsets and contribute to meaningful process improvements. If successful you would join a small, dynamic team who value delivering high-quality outcomes across a range of systems, on a national basis.

Senior Listing Officers will have a specific focus on supporting listings for a particular Jurisdictional Area or Areas and report to an APS6 Listing Manager.

About you:

To be successful you will have:

  • Sound analytical skills, attention to detail with the ability to work independently
  • Well-developed knowledge of the Tribunal’s applicable legislative and policy framework, caseload, operations, practices and procedures or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to maintain records of case allocations, including updating records in case management systems.
  • The acquired knowledge to provide professional and policy advice to Members and staff on caseload and procedural issues related to listings.

About Administrative Appeals Tribunal

The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) conducts independent merits review of administrative decisions made under Commonwealth laws. We review decisions made by Australian Government ministers, departments and agencies and, in limited circumstances, decisions made by state government and non-government bodies. We also review decisions made under Norfolk Island laws.

The AAT was established by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975 and commenced operations on 1 July 1976.

On 1 July 2015 the Migration Review Tribunal, Refugee Review Tribunal and Social Security Appeals Tribunal were merged with the AAT.
