We’re looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong Go experience to help modernise and enhance a growing eCommerce and personalisation platform. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that values practical solutions, clean code, and delivering real outcomes for independent retailers and their customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain reliable backend services using Go;
• Help modernise legacy JavaScript tools;
• Develop solutions that integrate with third-party platforms (e.g. DoorDash, Uber Eats, Menulog);
• Contribute to personalisation features using the AWS stack;
• Work within a serverless environment (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Postgres); and
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and data engineers.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Go;
• Exposure to TypeScript/JavaScript (nice to have);
• Comfortable working in AWS, particularly serverless services;
• Experience with Postgres and DynamoDB;
• Good knowledge of Git, branching, and CI/CD pipelines;
• Understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP/S; and
• Familiarity with identity tools like Auth0 is a bonus.
