We are looking for a motivated and passionate room leader to join our wonderful team at our modern and fairly new 40 place Liverpool Centre.

About the Role:

Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment

Facilitate & lead the learning experiences for your allocated room

Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs

Complete observations and portfolios for children in your allocated room

Maintain effective communication with parents throughout the service

Create & maintain positive working relationships with all team members

Contribute to and implement a Quality Improvement Plan

Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)

Sound knowledge of the NQS & EYLF

Current Working with Children Check

Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis

Completed child protection training

Food Handling Certificate and ability to obtain Food Supervisory Certificate

Ability to lead & work as part of a cohesive and supportive team environment, nurturing authentic connections with children & families

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Good time management skills and able to work with minimum supervision using own initiatives

Experience with Assessment & Rating would be highly regarded

Previous experience in a similar role
