We are Tiaro’s specialist trailer, caravan and auto repair centre. As a growing business, we are seeking another skilled Automotive Electrician to join our team full-time.

About the role

You will play a crucial role in conducting repairs to meet manufacturing standards, diagnosing faults in both electrical and mechanical components, install and maintain electronic braking systems. Utilize advanced technology for seamless communication between workshop operations and customer service.

Diagnose & repair electrical faults

Carry out a wide variety of RV repair and maintenance – no two days are the same!

· Carry out repairs according to manufacturing requirements.

· Replace broken or defective parts.

· Test and replace electrical components.

· Repair and replace electrical wiring.

· Diagnose electrical and mechanical components for faults.

· Use special test equipment.

· Remove and replace electronic components.

· Maintain and repair braking systems.

· Support Electrical engineer with installation of electrical upgrades and modifications

· Willingness to learn new techniques and repair to all makes of caravans

· Solid basis of use for electrical power tools and tools of the trade

· Perform and diagnose mobile air conditioning faults and repair in heavy vehicles and plant machinery

Skills and experience
· Hold a current Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrician Trade Qualification.

· Have a genuine passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn.

· Have a down-to-earth personality.

· Hold a current automatic/manual driver’s license.

· Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Willingness to attend electrical vehicle training and certification
